Staring November 1st through the end of the month, one of Off Speed Cinema’s “Great Moments in Hollywood History” shorts will play at the Homer Theater in Homer, AK before the featured movie. Episode 1 will show this month, and it is likely that other episodes will show in future months. If you’re near Homer, take in a movie, and support local filmmaking.

The Off Speed Cinema comedy short “Abby’s End of the World Diary” has been selected for the 2013 Cedar Rapids Independent Film Festival. Congratulations to Karina Becker, Kitty Mahoney, and Angelo Jones the actors of that short.

The fest will be held April 5th & 6th, and our short will show at 12:11PM and again at 8:43PM on Saturday, April 6th. Both showings will be in Theatre 3. If you are in the area come out and support a great festival. Click here for the full fest schedule.

It’s been 26 weeks since Off Speed Cinema began uploading weekly comedy videos. Half a year, and we’re still going strong. We’ve still got some shorts in editing and lots more to shoot, we just need the snow to melt away so we can get outside and get the camera rolling. Six months down and many more to come. I just posted the 19th weekly video since Off Speed Cinema began weekly comedy video posts and we already have total video 9,000 views for the channel on Youtube.
